Port Adelaide’s Tom Anastasopoulos has signed a one-year contract extension, keeping him at the club until at least the end of 2026.
Heading into his third season next year, Anastasopoulos is yet to have a call up to the top level but has provided some spark for the Magpies in the SANFL.
Playing between the forward line and the wing, the Vic Country product boasts speed and good running capacity.
In a club announcement, list manager Jason Cripps said that Anastasopoulos has settled well into their system and will continue to develop with another full pre-season ahead to put himself into AFL selection contention next year.
Anastasopoulos was drafted from the Geelong Falcons with pick 48 in the 2023 national draft.
In an interview with Neos Kosmos last year, the now 20-year-old said that the whole coaching staff is pushing him and wants him to get better.
“They have so much belief for me that I can debut, so I’ve just got to keep working every day.”
