A delegation from Panathinaikos Basketball Club is all set to meet with the Greek Aussie youth with a visit organised to the Greek Orthodox Community of NSW’s Clemton Park school.
Panathinaikos BC CEO Vassilis Parthenopoulos and a list of star players will visit the school on Saturday 20 September and meet with the students and their families.
The team will be in Sydney for the coming Pavlos Giannakopoulos Tournament, with their match against Adelaide 36ers to take place the following day.
The event will include a meet-and-greet with the players, as well as the announcement of poster competition winners as part of the GOC’s tickets giveaway for students aged 7-15.
The GOC NSW stated in their announcement on the visit:
“This special event promises a morning filled with cultural pride, inspiration, and unity through sport – celebrating the passion for both basketball and Hellenism.”
