Ergotelis mid Leonardo Koutris couldn’t take a trick over the weekend when he went down injured against AEL (Larissa), in the Greece’s Second Division.

The midfielder was assisted off the ground (loosely speaking) by two gentlemen holding him up on a stretcher, before one of the stretcher-bearers fell not once, but twice, dropping Koutris to the ground.

To rub salt into the wound, the player was then carelessly placed on the ground once they crossed the sideline leaving him to agonise over his injury.

Ergotelis lost the match 2-1, to send them to 12th place on the table, whilst Larissa remains top.
