As part of South Oakleigh College’s Greek language extension and enrichment activities, this year native Greek speaking students were granted the opportunity to complete the Certificate of Attainment in Greek.

The initiative was led by coordinator Phyllis Dimakakos and taught by language assistant Kathey Zinelis, both of whom gave of their time generously to ensure students were well-prepared for the exam during class time as well as online and out of school hours.

Students who registered for and completed the exam include Efrosini-Eudoxia Amoutzopoulou, Maria-Panagiota Panopoulou, Panagiotis Charalambidis, Despina Kirketsou, Joanna Katakou, Anna Rekliti, Vasilios Ntentopoulos, Chrysanthi Gialama, George Dakos, Elisavet Stavrinou, Chrysi Litsiou, Magdalini Maligani, Stella Dakos, Emmanuel Kopanidis, Georgia Kazis, and Anastasia Stavrinou.

The Certificate of Attainment in Greek, which is offered at six levels, assesses the level of the language user’s level of knowledge and skill in Greek, and is a requirement for the pursuit of higher education study and various professions across Greece.
