Haris Alexiou, the multi-award winning singer with a voice of pure caramel, is set to tour Australia this coming November.
The last time this much loved Diva graced our shores was in 1994 and her concerts sold out in three states to incredible acclaim.
Alexiou is known not only for her luminous beauty but also for her incredible stage presence, so this is a ticket you simply can’t miss. Alexiou has been on the top of her game since the 1970s and continues to hold the crown as one of Greece’s top music artists.
Alexiou holds the number one female ranking and in total the number three ranking, concerning the sales of the personal albums certified Gold or Platinum in Greek discography since 1970, behind the male singers George Dalaras and Yiannis Parios. Eight of her personal albums released between 1977 and 2003 have surpassed 100,000 sales, the only Greek female singer to do so.
The fact that most of her albums have been of a different music style and produced with different composers demonstrates her unique place in contemporary Greek music.
Alexiou will be accompanied by the acclaimed singer Lizeta Kalimeri and the multi talented Makis Seviloglou.
