The volume of retail trade in Greece fell 11.4 per cent in June against the same month in 2010, the independent Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) said on Wednesday.
ELSTAT, said that according to provisional results, the turnover index in retail trade at current prices, excluding automotive fuel, recorded a fall of 8.2 per cent in June 2011 compared with June 2010. The Index in June 2010 recorded a decrease of 2.8 per cent compared with June 2009.
The turnover index in retail trade, including automotive fuel, recorded a fall of 8.3 per cent in June 2011 compared with June 2010. The Index in June 2010 recorded an increase of 1.1 per cent compared with June 2009.
The volume of retail trade (i.e. turnover in retail trade at constant prices), excluding automotive fuel, decreased by 9.9 per cent in June 2011, compared with June 2010.
The retail trade volume index, including automotive fuel, decreased by 11.4 per cent in June 2011 compared with June 2010. The Index in June 2010 recorded a decrease of 4.5 per cent compared with June 2009.
