The Greek Orthodox Community of NSW raised the impressive sum with the help of some of Sydney’s most prominent Greek Australians.

NUGAS visited 14 Greek schools across Melbourne to encourage students to maintain their Greek identity through studying Greek at tertiary level.

Works to restore Melbourne’s oldest Greek Church are currently underway with stage one in progress and will likely continue until 2018.
