Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds minced beef
3 tbsp olive oil
4 garlic cloves
2 egg yolks
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp cumin
tomatoes, chopped
1 can tomato paste
2 tbsp ketchup

Method:
Put the mince in a bowl. Mash garlic cloves through a garlic press and add to minced meat. Separate the yokes of two eggs and add them to the minced meat along with the cumin, salt, and pepper. Knead until combined.

Put a tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan. Roll the mince mixture into little sausage-like shapes with your hands and place them in the frying pan. Cook until brown.

Remove any fat with a spoon. Then add your chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, and tablespoon of ketchup.

Gently cook till the minced meat is cooked through but not so long as to let it get hard.

Serve over boiled rice with a traditional Greek salad.
