This is a salad from the region Mani in South Peloponnese, where oranges are grown in abundance. The origin of this salad is from the farmers that picked the oranges. They would take the potatoes, olives and onion with them to the fields and would make up the salad as a snack during their break.

Ingredients:
3 potatoes boiled, peeled
3 oranges
2 shallots or one small onion
a handful of Kalamata olives
olive oil
salt and cracked pepper
oregano

Method:
1. Cut potatoes and lay out on platter
2. Cut up onion and lay out, leave a couple of pieces for last layer
3. Add salt and pepper, sprinkle with olive oil
5. Cut oranges in cubes
6. Put on leftover onion
7. Put olives on last, adding more cracked pepper. Sprinkle with oregano
