Melbourne-based Her Words is an intimate, relatable and inspiring online video interview series sharing the stories and experiences of women.
Inclusive of all ages, ethnicities, abilities, sexualities and backgrounds, Her Word’s mission is to inspire courage through connection and change through conversation going beyond the surface to crack into important, constructive and inspiring dialogue on the real challenges affecting those who identify as women.
On the evening of Thursday 14 June the group will try to figure out how we can use conversation to educate, empathise and ensure progress towards gender equality in a special event.
A feminist guest of honour soon to be announced will lead a talk between like-minded souls about what can be changed in our own lives to create change even in the smallest of ways. It won’t be just a talk, it will be a brainstorming/networking event sharing ideas, tips and strategies.
Ancient Greeks believed beautiful meals can be the birthplace for conversation, courage and connection which is why for the Her Words first salon dinner, guests will be treated to an incredible three-course spread – drinks included – cooked by the talented Greek Australian chef Ella Mittas.
All proceeds go towards the Her Words movement and to sharing more women’s stories.
