Matthew McConaughey is in love with the beauty of Greece, something he made very clear on the Jimmy Fallon show where he was invited yesterday.

The Hollywood star who was in Greece back in July with his wife Camila Alves, their three children and his mother Mary McCabe compared the experience to “three weeks in paradise.”

McConaughey and his family kicked off their Greek escapade on Mykonos enjoying the beautiful beaches and cosmopolitan life; they even did some shopping at the island’s high-end boutiques.

The McConaugheys spent most of their time on Antiparos where they got to relax and enjoy the calmness. Woody Harrelson and his family also happened to be holidaying on the island at the same time which resulted in the two old friends renting a villa together.

What mostly impressed the famous actor other than the scenery and the food was the way Greeks respect women and treat them like queens.

“We were there, three weeks in paradise, we had freedom, the water is amazing, Greece is just beautiful it’s inherently generous, the sea doesn’t bite, the air doesn’t bite, the land doesn’t bite. It’s beautiful. People love family, we had a great three weeks and decided when it was time to go, we weren’t ready to leave so we said let’s do this another week, let’s stay in paradise another week and we all agreed,” he said.
