Talented young tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas has ridden on Greek support throughout the Australian Open, and tonight was no exception. The crowds showed up in droves to watch Tsitsipas play his idol, Swiss Roger Federer.

Greek flags were not lacking inside and outside the court, while crowds poured into Oakleigh to watch the match together in a spirit of revelry. It was an important match for Greek fans who came to see the Greek gun play a fine game against his third seed idol, Swiss Roger Federer.

Greek fans have not been lacking from games featuring Tsitsipas, and the player has admitted that the support has meant a lot to him. Below is a gallery submitted by our reader, Georgina Atzarakis Vidakis.
