Discover Greece, a travel portal owned by “Marketing Greece”, released a video aimed at conjuring images of a holiday as part of its new communication and promotion campaign on Wednesday.
The video titled, “Oh My Greece! Unlock the Feeling”, features a string of Greek images showcasing the beauty of the country with Greeks advising tourists to “listen, watch, hear and feel” the beauty that surrounds them.
Released ahead of the 2019 summer season, the video is part of the new campaign #OhMyGreece – as in OMG – aiming to bring tourists back to their favourite destination. And what better way to do this than by presenting a cascade of spectacular images and experiences around the mainland and islands of the beautiful country?
Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura was at the launch of the project and thanked Marketing Greece for its support of the national tourist strategy and its long-standing collaboration that complements the work of the Greek National Tourism Organisation.
Tourism has been the backbone of the Greek economy over recent years, and the country expects yet another record-breaking year in 2019 though a number of air carriers have announced less air seats to Greece over the coming season.
