Greek-Canadian singer Katerina Duska revealed the title of her song for the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest.

The song, “Better Love” will be presented to the public on 6 March. She recently travelled to the United Kingdom to record her entry and reports say that the song belongs to the alternative music genre. It is not a ballad.

Katerina moved from Montreal to Greece as a teenager. It was during those years that she started to experiment with songwriting.

Her university entrance exams were high and she enrolled at the Kapodistria University of Athens to study Law.

When her first album, Embodiment, was released in 2013, Duska’s voice in the song “One in a Million” was compared to that of Amy Winehouse.

Such comparisons, give Ioannis Drosos, the CEO of the Greek state broadcaster ERT, high hopes.

The singer will use social media to promote her Eurovision and will not attend promo parties such as the London Eurovision Party or Eurovision in Concert.
