On Tuesday 26 March, Delphi Bank hosted its first Northern Business Group seminar for 2019.

Among those presenting at the event was Associate Professor Dr Arthur Nasis, who is the director of both Victoria Heart and Acute Cardiac Services at Monash Heart and serves as the co-clinical lead of the Victorian Cardiac Clinical Network, Department of Health and Human Services.

Dr Nasis gave an insightful talk on heart health, and how to predict, prevent and manage it, as well as how to live a healthier and better life overall.

Among the practical tips on how to keep a healthy heart was eating a diet that helps to keep blood pressure, total cholesterol and blood sugar levels healthy, as well as keeping physically active.

Dr Nasis highlighted three simple steps to keep in mind: “Have a heart health check, know the warning signs and share the message with people you know”.
