It’s the final round in the top Greek football competition, and with PAOK already having claimed the title and Olympiacos the highly coveted second position that leads to next season’s Champions League qualifiers, not much else remains to be decided.

Aris will be the team that follows Atromitos and AEK into the qualifying stages of the Europa League, however it still remains to be seen who will finish third and have more time to prepare for the following season, given that position provides entry to the third qualifying round, and who will need to begin their obligations from the second round in mid-July. Currently, the former champions hold that spot and are firm favourites to end the season right there as all they need to do is take the win against already relegated Levadiakos.

If Atromitos are to climb to third, they will need to beat a point-hungry OFI side, while also hoping for a small miracle to come from Livadeia.

At the same time, the battle to avoid relegation wages on between OFI and Giannena, as the Cretans stand two points clear of the team from northwest Greece. They both face difficult challenges in the last round, with Giannena hosting newly-crowned champions PAOK, who despite winning the title still have plenty to play for as they hope to end their season with their unbeaten run left intact. While, as mentioned previously, OFI will take on Atromitos at Peristeri.

The team that eventually ends up taking 14th place will enter a playoff to see whether or not they will participate in the Super League the following season.

The rest of the games are inconsequential since all else has been determined, with Levadiakos and Apollon Smyrnis having already sealed their fate earlier on.
