Greek young gun Stefanos Tsitsipas, 20, has a love-hate relationship with social media.

A prolific user, he has decided to shut down his social media accounts and announced the news just hours before his appearance at the Davis Cup.

He Tweeted: “I am out, might see you again in a month or a year. Adios muchachos!”

In another video post, he said:  “I don’t think I will regret it, because it’s like getting rid of an addiction.

“The reason I decided to do this is to refresh myself, to come closer to people who count for me and not to be focused on people I don’t know, people I have no relationship with. By doing this I will have more time for my loved ones, the people I care about most.” he wrote.
