On Wednesday, the former Friends star signed up to the platform to the delight of millions of her fans – her account reaching over six million followers in just one day, and now stands at 10.3 million.
The Greek American made her entrance with a bang, posting a selfie with her fellow Friends cast Courtney Cox, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow and Matt LeBlanc, who continue to be real life friends.
The photo was aptly captioned: “And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM.”

It didn’t take long for the actress’ account to receive the blue tick from Instagram, officially verified within minutes.
Among her followers are a-list celebrities the likes of Reese Witherspoon, Salma Hayek, Chrissy Teigan, Penelope Cruz, and Julia Roberts.
On Thursday Aniston acknowledged talk of her having ‘broken the internet’ after receiving record followers, with a cheeky post captioned: “I swear I didn’t mean to break it… Thank you guys for the kind, glitchy welcome ❤️”
