Saturday, 26 October

10am Divine liturgy at Saints Cyril and Methodius Church in honour of St Dimitrios feast day at 2 Yann Street, Preston.
6.30pm Glendi with brass band by the Siatista community of Macedonia at EEAMA, 1C Bell Street, Preston.

Sunday, 27 October

10am Divine liturgy and wreath-laying ceremony at the Axion Esti church on the feast day of St Dimitris at 7 Hartington Street, Northcote.
6.30pm Dance by the Pan Macedonian dance group at Normanby House, 22 Normanby Avenue, Thornbury.

Sunday, 17 November

2-4pm Talk by Dr George Iatropoulos on cancer prevention, and Dr Jordan Psomopoulos on the Mediterranean diet at the Stergios Liousas hall of the Pan Macedonian group at 470 Queens Parade, Clifton Hill. Free admission.

Friday, 22 November

6.30pm Apostolos Tzitzikostas, Governor of the Region of Central Macedonia, gives a talk at the Greek Centre at 168 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne. Free admission.
7pm Theatre music presentation, titled Elaia i Thallousa by the students of Zinon Greek School at South Oakleigh College, Bakers Rd, Oakleigh South.

Saturday, 23 November

7.30pm Annual dance at the EEAMA (former Stars International) at 1C Bell Street, Preston, in the presence of Mr Tzitzikostas.

Sunday, 24 November

10-4pm Macedonian Festival with the participation of the Renaissance Orchestra, and traditional Greek dancers. Watch as Queen Street is transformed into a bustling Thessalonikian experience and marvel at traditional dance demonstrations, explore unique specialty wares, and indulge in authentic cuisines. Takes place at the Queen Victoria Market, Queen Street, Melbourne. Free admission.

6.30pm A special dinner held in honour of Mr Tzitzikostas at the White Tower Association at 439 High Street, Northcote.
