St John’s College is proving that the community spirit is alive and well in Preston.

Next month, the school is hosting a Greek Festival with lots of fun for the whole family, from food trucks and stalls to peruse, carnival rides, and cooking demonstrations. There will be two stages set up, with live music by school band Dio Patrides and Epirotic Ensemble.

A highlight is sure to be the Galaktoboureko Competition, giving you the chance to showcase your baking skills and be in the running for prizes. Industry judges include chef Yiannis Kasidokostas from Sowl Wise Cuisine, founder of Olympian Specialty Products Debbie Papadimitriou, and Nicki Kouvelas from Hellenic International Cakes.
