PRONIA hosted its 47th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday, where the organisation’s annual report for 2018-19 was presented.

It was revealed that the community service provider has significantly progressed its core work, and managed exponential growth.

CEO Tina Douvos-Stathopoulos touched on both the successes, and challenges when it comes to funding and the increasing complex needs of the Greek community.

“PRONIA is having a profound impact on the lives of our clients and the community,” she said, a sentiment shared by President Ivy Fatouros-Mimilidis.

“We are extremely proud of our achievements and the progress made this year,” she said. “PRONIA can face the challenges of the future with great confidence because of our people.”

The outcome of the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety Interim Report was also extensively acknowledged.
