Storm Gyrionis has caused damage around Greece.
An elderly, bed-ridden woman, 75, became the third victim of the storms sweeping through Greece on Sunday and Monday after torrential rains flooded areas of Rhodes.
The woman died in the house where she lived in alone at Ialysos after it flooded on Monday evening. Water rose above the height of her bed causing her to drown.
Previously, two people had drowned at Antirio after their sailboat, moored at the docks, sank due to gale-force winds.
Huge damage was caused on the town of Kinetta, western Attica. Homes were flooded and cars were swept away by floodwaters and overturned. The Fire Brigade received 43 calls to pump out water from flooded homes and stores, and have been called to help trapped citizens.
