As Covid-19 escalates, social media has been abuzz with all manner of posts related to coronavirus.
One popular post being shared across social media purports to link the disease with other pandemics corresponding to other ‘election years’. The post is titled ‘Election Years’ and reads:
“Sars – 2004, Bird Flu – 2008, Swine Flu – 2010, MERS – 2012, Ebola – 2014, Zika – 2016, Ebola – 2018, Corona – 2020”.
The meme is then captioned, ‘You Tell Me’. It has been shared around the web.
