Leading Orthodox clerics throughout Australia will be celebrating the name-day of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew on 11 June.

Archbishop Makarios of Australia will officiate at the Cathedral of the Annunciation of our Lady in Sydney. Metropolitan Seraphim of Seveasteia and Bishop Emilianos of Meloa, the Chancellor of Archdiocese of Australia will be praying at the altar. The liturgy will be streamed live on the internet.

In Melbourne, Bishop Ezekiel of Dervis, the Archiepiscopal Vicar of Melbourne will officiate with the Archepiscopal Vicar Archimandrite Evemenios Vasilopoulos at the Holy Monastery of Axion Esti in Northocote.

Binsop Iakovos of Miletoupolis, the Archepiscopal Vicar of Brisbane will officiate at St Anna on the Gold Coast.

The Archepiscopal Vicar of Perth, Bishop Elpidios of Kyaneon will officiate at Saints Constantine and Helene in Perth.

In Adelaide, Bishop Siloaun of Sinope will officiate at St Panteleimon in Glenelg with Bishop Paul of Christianoupolis praying at the altar.

Church officials have asked that faithful respect requirements imposed by the COVID-19 restrictions and accept the restricition on the numbers that will be allowed to attend the services in each state.
