The Greek teams faced scathing attacks from their opposition in the Europa League on Thursday.

OFI succumbed to Cypriot visitors Apollon Limassol 1-0 on home soil, knocking the team out of the playoffs after their first European venture after 20 years.

OFI fell terribly short, going slow in midfield and in attack and caught serious complaints from the referee for various decisions.

It was defender Attila Szalai that came through with a goal in the 50th minute to get the Cypriots through to the last round before the playoffs of the Europa League.

Aris was not going to let up, as midfielder Bruno Gama swooped in on the 55th minute to equalise the scores.

In the end, it was a goal by Denys Antyukh in the 62nd minute that helped the Ukrainians snag their win.
