On Tuesday Olympiacos lost 3-0 against Manchester City for the third round of group games in the Champions League.

Manchester City did not give Olympiacos a chance to breathe, firing ahead from the get go and made it difficult for them to claim the ball.

In doing so City were able to take an early lead as Ferrán Torres scored the first goal of the match 12 minutes in.

Reds’ keeper Jose Sa was the strongest on field in the first half, deflecting more goals after Torres’ strike.

At half time Olympiacos switched around Bouchalakis for Pêpê taks his place and Bruma goes in for Randjelović’s place on the flank.

The two half-time substitutions gave the team a chance to capture more possessions and bring the ball into City’s box.

Unfortunately Olympiacos missed three chances in the first 20 minutes but kept up the pressure hoping to turn it into a goal.

This was not the case as City rubbed some extra salt in the wound towards the end of the match as Gabriel Jesus scored in the 81st minute before defender João Cancelo added the cherry on top in the 90th.

Olympiacos has a couple of weeks to sort out the game plan before hosting City in Piraeus on 25 November.
