The photographic exhibition, “The Evzones Collection” by Nick Bourdaniotis will be moving to Adelaide for the weekend of 23 to 25 April after a successful run in Melbourne earlier this month.

The exhibition centring on the famous Greek Presidential Guard will be on display at the Holy Monastery of St Nectarios in Croydon Park. The times for viewing have been set for between 2pm and 5.30pm on Friday, 23 April; 2-6pm on Saturday, 24 April; and 1-4.30pm on Sunday, 25 April.

Mr Bourdaniotis spent years “marching” with the Evzones to capture their spirit and traditions.

More than 700 Melbournians came to the exhibition that was hosted by Oakleigh Grammar in conjunction with the 2021 Victorian Bicentenary Committee and the Organisational Council for Greek National Day celebrations.

Mr Bourdanotis raised $2,000 from the auction of one of the prints from the exhibition. He donated the proceeds to AGAPI Care.

After Adelaide, the exhibition will move to Sydney in June, Brisbane in late July and Perth in November.

A photographic book of the collection entitled “The Evzones Collection” and published by Image Smart is available by ordering through The Evzones Collection website link.
