Since 1977, Lalor North Primary School has been the only Greek and Australian bilingual environment with 50 per cent of the lessons in English and Greek from Prep to Year 2, and 40 per cent from Year 3 onwards.

Apart from language acquisition, the school embraces Greek heritage and could not ignore Paschal traditions. The students were immersed in activities associated with Greek Orthodox Easter, from dyeing red eggs to learning about how Easter is celebrated in different countries.
