Fashion icon falls
French designer, Pierre Cardin, has been released from hospital after falling down a flight of stairs and breaking his shoulder blade last week. The designer was in hospital in Marseille also, being treated for high blood pressure. He is currently living in the southern village of Lacoste where he is restoring a castle once owned by the Marquis de Sade.
Actor uses head
Actor Kiefer Sutherland allegedly head-butted fashion designer Jack McCollough at an after-party for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual Costume Institute Gala. It is claimed that Sutherland attacked the designer after seeing him knock actress Brooke Sheilds to the ground. McCollough was taken to hospital for treatment.

His blog, The Sartorialist, features photos of the glamorous men and women he comes across in London, New York, Milan and Paris, and now Melbourne and Sydney too! Naomi’s supermodel party
Naomi Campbell refused to attend the Costume Institute Gala at the New York Met after discovering her close friend, designer Azzedine Alaia, didn’t receive an invitation. Instead Campbell hosted a ‘supermodel’ party at her New York apartment.
