Dimitri from Paris, aka the master of all things house and disco, is back for a special encore performance at Alumbra nightclub this Saturday night.

Dimitri’s last show in Melbourne drew a glamorous crowd of party people who were evidently delighted with his lengthy set encompassing trademark house, disco and soul sounds.

Born in Turkey to Greek parents, Dimitri grew up in France where he discovered the art of DJing by using whatever samples he could find from disco hits heard on the radio.

His early experimentation helped him launch a DJ career beginning at French station Radio 7, before moving to Europe’s largest FM network Radio NRJ where he hosted a cult show.

Dimitri has sold over a million copies of his work and can be found playing weekly resident gigs in some of the hottest cities around the world. His infamous A Night at the Playboy Mansion charted in Mixmag’s Top 100 Best Compilations Ever and ultimately sold over 350,000.

The gig on Saturday is limited by Alumbra’s capacity, meaning tickets are sure to be snapped up quickly and a sell out is more than likely.
