S Central managing director, Peter Mavridis has become the CEO of newly rebranded company, Synergy Plus, following ComputerCorp’s recent acquisition of Synergy Plus and S Central.

The deal which saw the merging of the three companies on July 1 will see all three organisations listed on the ASX as the new name, Synergy Plus.

These acquisitions are part of a broader strategy to position the company to pursue emerging growth opportunities, with a particular focus on capturing new business in Eastern states, and seizing enterprise infrastructure market opportunities in the void created by Fujitsu’s acquisition of Kaz Group.

ComputerCorp will pay $9.3m for Synergy Plus over a three-year period, with a minimum purchase price of $6.5 million.

It will also acquire all shares in S Central in exchange for a cash injection of $5 million from its key shareholders, Mavridis and Polly Mazaris.

Once completed, the pair will own a 30 per cent stake, becoming the largest shareholders.

The group employs 300 full-time staff across 12 locations and enjoys joint annual revenue of $250 million.
