Also at Darling Harbour, Helm Bar is hosting Privelege, a Greek dance night for New Years.
Tickets cost $50, including two drinks, entry to the after-party, and DJs from such events as HOME’s Mykonos Festival, Santorini Sessions, Enigma and Fashionista.

For a more gentle celebration, The Greek Orthodox Church of St Demetrios, at 120 Collett St, Queanbeyan, is hosting a New Year’s Eve party.
The event has been run over the past 16 years, and Reverend Constantine Costakos said he expects up to 300 people. “Queanbean is full of very old families,” he said.
So despite the music, dancing and DJs, the party probably won’t go too late.
