The VPL silly season is alive and well with the coaching merry go round in full swing.

Andy Vlahos has already completed his move to Heidelberg United from Hume City. Peter Tsolakis has been offered a two year contract at South Melbourne and has left the country to ponder the offer. Goran Lozanovski is hot for the Northcote City job when/if Tsolakis comes to South Melbourne. Arthur Papas is vacating the Oakleigh Cannons position and several coaches are in the mix with Chris Taylor and George Katsakis strong contenders.

Regarding player activity, cashed up Whittlesea Zebras under the funding of Joe Mirabella is already chasing players hard. Big numbers are being thrown around trying to field a strong team for a championship tilt next season.

The Trifiro brothers, Jason and Glen, are hot property with Bentleigh Greens and Whittlesea already trying hard for their signatures. Central Defender Steven Gray from Dandenong Thunder has four clubs chasing his signature and will make a decision early next week. Hume City’s Richard Cardoso is another being chased hard by several clubs.

Yes, the silly season is alive and well and Neos Kosmos will keep you posted on all the movements.
