The Department of Archaeology at the University of Sydney and the Australian Archaeological Institute at Athens, will be offering their third Archaeological Summer School in 2013.

This rare opportunity will take you to the heart of ancient Athens to study the history and archaeology first hand. Participants will take part in lectures that will be integrated with daily visits to archaeological sites and museums in Athens and Attica. There will also be a chance for you to travel to Apollo and Delphi. Tuition will be given by Dr Lesley Beaumont (Senior Lecturer, University of Sydney) and Dr Stavros Paspalas (AAIA Deputy Director).

The summer school will take place during January 5 – 27, 2013 and is open to students of Australian universities and to Australian high school teachers. Members of the general public are also welcome to apply.
