Panathinaikos predictably stretched its lead at the top of the Super League to five points on Wednesday by dismissing visiting Levadiakos 3-0, while bottom club Doxa Dramas scored its first win.

The Greens took a significant advantage from second-placed Olympiakos after playing the game they had in hand and now need 32 points from the 12 remaining rounds of games to regain the soccer crown they lost last season.

Panathinaikos produced an entertaining performance against Levadiakos that left the visitors no chance of getting anything out of the game.

Josu Sarriegi gave the hosts the lead in the 33rd minute, with fellow Spaniard Toche scoring twice in the second half to seal victory for the Greens.

At Thessaloniki Doxa Dramas scored its first win since returning to the Super League by defeating visiting Asteras Tripolis 1-0.

Originally considered the league’s punching bag, Doxa had grabbed points away from AEK and Olympiakos before clinching the victory on Wednesday through a Wellington Goncalves goal seven minutes into the game.
