Fig and orange jam Ingredients:
1 kilo ripe figs
700 grams sugar
Zest of 1 orange
Juice of 1 orange
Method:
1. Cut the figs in quarter cover with the sugar and leave in the saucepan overnight in the fridge
2. The next day cook on very low heat till thick
3. Add the orange jest and cook for another 15 minutes
4. When ready add the orange juice
5. Store in sterilized jars
