When I was growing up I remember all the adults around me eating grapes with the pips. I have never been able to do this and I buy grapes without pips. For the following trick I would advise grapes without pips, especially if they are for guests.
Method:
1. Grapes as many you need, white or red will do.
2. Take grapes off the stems, wash and while still wet roll in sifted icing sugar that you have put in a bowl
3. Put them in a plastic container or plastic bag and seal and freeze
4. Add a few drops of ouzo after they have been rolled in the icing sugar. Do not add the ouzo to the icing sugar before you roll the grapes, as the sugar will go gluggy.
5. Serve frozen, they are like lollies – fresh and cold and great in the summer months.
