Adelaide held their annual Dimitria Festival this year at Flinders University for the first time which saw the launch of the LOGOS centre at Flinders Uni as well as the unveiling of the Aristotle bust that was donated by the Halkidikon society.

There was plenty of entertainment from dance groups as well as the usual Greek food and sweets and not forgetting the Macedonian pittes made by the Pan Macedonian Association women’s committee.

“I am very proud to be a Hellene and we should aim to teach our youth more of our history to help maintain it and to feel the same way” said Barbara Langanis-Diakos.
