Director of the Institute for Democracy ‘Constantinos Karamanlis’, parliamentarian and former spokesman of the New Democracy Party of Greece, John Mihelakis will deliver a lecture on the topic: The Greek, Cypriot and European Crisis and the Consequences to our National Issues. Greek Ambassador Haralambos Dafaranos will be the MC on the night.
The lecture will be presented by the Greek Studies Program of the Notre Dame University Australia in collaboration with the Pan-Macedonian Association of Melbourne and Victoria and the Australian Institute for Macedonian Studies, continuing their series of lectures inviting prominent personalities and academics from Greece and Europe.
Mr Mihelakis is a political personality in Greece and is ranked number four in the list of the selected parliamentarians by his party. He was the managing director of MEGA television station, director of ANTI Television and managing director of newspaper Eleftheros Typos.
