Ingredients:

100 grams dried organic apricots

100 grams dried organic figs

100 grams dried organic peaches

20 grams of whole blanched almonds

1 star anise

1 cinnamon stick

1 vanilla bean

1 teaspoon of honey

2 strips of lemon rind
yoghurt (optional)

enough cold water to cover fruit

 

Method:

1. Place all fruit and spices in saucepan and cover with water and bring to the boil slowly.

2. Cook for 15 -20 minutes.

3. Remove anise and
cinnamon stick.

4. Serve sprinkled with the almonds, a little cinnamon and nutmeg.

5. And a little light plain yoghurt if you wish.
