Ingredients:
2 cups plain flour
2 tblsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp raw sugar
1 cup plain Greek yoghurt
2 tblsp margarine
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 200° C.
2. Put all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix together with a fork. Add the margarine (or shortening) and cut it into the dry ingredients with the fork. Add the yoghurt and stir to combine.
3. The dough will combine enough to where it looks lumpy yet none of the flour is loose. Lightly flour your counter and dump the dough on the counter. With your hands combine the dough fully and create one big ball. Roll it out to about a centimetre in height.
4. Flour the edges of a round biscuit cutter and cut the biscuits out of the dough. You should get about 6-8 biscuits – depending on how you roll the dough.
5. Place biscuits in a greased and floured pan. Place in 200° oven for 15 minutes.
