One of the most popular television shows in Australia My Greek Odyssey, is about to kick off and expected to attract a large number of Australian viewers to the beauty of Greece.

With the Greek islands and especially the Cyclades becoming the top destination in the world according to TripAdvisor, My Greek Odyssey will offer audiences 13 immersive episodes this season showcasing some of the most unique and mesmerising destinations of Greece.

For the opening of the season, Greek Australian host Peter Maneas will visit the beautiful gems of Milos and Serifos.

The crew will visit Serifos between 17 and 20 September and film on Milos from 2 to 10 October bringing everything, from the islands’ great views to the gastronomic culture to light.

The crew and cast of My Greek Odyssey, in collaboration with the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) will meet with locals and important personalities on each island, aiming to educate people about each place’s unique history and character.

“The show aims to entertain, educate and inspire its viewers to get to know the Greek islands and make them their next holiday destination,” the announcement said.

The show will be screened in many countries as major international TV channels have already bought copyrights.
