A video shot by the Up Drones team shows a spectacular dolphin show at Theologos, a coastal town in the Fthiotida prefecture of Central Greece. The beautiful creatures dance in perfect synchronicity.
The Up Drones team describe their footage as inspiring for them. “We have travelled all over Greece, from one end to the other and filmed endless beauties … but when you come close to the most adorable mammals in the world, these are images that last for a lifetime.”

Dolphins have been a popular creature in Greece since antiquity. More recently, the Archipelagos Institute of Marine Conservation founded the world’s first permanent sanctuary for dolphins rescued from captivity.

In another incident, tourists were lucky to witness a small pod of dolphins emerging from the sea while sailing around the island of Mykonos. The playful sea mammals were filmed by Tasos Dactylidis who later uploaded the footage to YouTube.
