The glamour years of Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis may have long gone, however his property still carries some of the hey-day charm of the tycoon. Here are some items with stories to tell:

LUXURY FLAT FOR SALE

In London, the former home of the Onassis family at 47 Grosvenor Square, Mayfair, has gone up for sale for £25 million. It was the home where shipping tycoon Aristotle Onassis lived with Jackie Kennedy Onassis and was also the home of his sister, Artemis Onassis.

The home is 465.24 sqm and features an impressive entrance hall, five bedrooms, four en-suite bathrooms and a family kitchen.

BOAT FOR CHARTER

Guests can charter the Christina O, a luxury yacht once owned by Onassis and Kennedy Onassis for 560,000 euros (approximately $627,505) per week. Valef Yachts also offers it for a daily rate of 90,000 euro (approximately $100,850) in July and August or 80,000 euro (about $89,642) per day in other months.

The boat is also available for sale, and comes with a staff of 38 crew.

The yacht is the meeting place of Onassis and Jackie and named after Christina, his daughter and the mother of Athina Onassis. It was renamed Christina O following the tycoon’s death.
