The Cyprus Community of Melbourne and Victoria in conjunction with the Greek Archdiocese and all Cypriot Communities and Organisations of Melbourne, are now conducting a co-ordinated collection of non-perishables, canned and dry foods, long life milk (Breakfast, Lunches and Dinners) for all the needy due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Father Evmenios from the Archdiocese has called on help as supplies are running very low, with many people in the community unemployed and unable to earn an income while striving to keep their families fed.

A possible reason for the drop in supplies is due to stage four lockdown restrictions, so the Archdiocese has authorised for volunteers to pick up supplies from people’s homes.
