Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Diaspora Greeks Konstantinos Vlasis is set to address Greek Australians in a special online dialogue series on Wednesday, 7 July, at 5pm (AEST – NSW, ACT, VIC, TAS and QLD time) and 10am (Greek time).

The event is part of the Open Dialogue series presented by Paul Nicolaou, Business Leaders Council Director of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Christos Karras, the Consul General of Greece in Sydney.

In his online talk, Mr Vlasis will brief the Diaspora on efforts the Greek government is making to reach out to them, such as the government’s decision to establish a Day of the Greek Diaspora and worldwide celebrations for the 200-year anniversary since the beginning of the Greek Revolution of 1821.
