Following the success of the vaccine pop up at St Georges Church in Thornbury, the Greek Community of Melbourne will be launching another vaccination hub at St Dimitrios Church in Prahran to be followed in the following week by a Pop-Up Hub in Brunswick.
With support from the Federal Government, a Vaccination Hub offering doses of Pfizer vaccine to all ages from the age of 16 up (including over 60’s) will commence on Wednesday, 20 October, and will run through to Saturday 23 October.
The pop-up vaccination hub aims to help Victoria reach its vaccination goals faster by targeting local communities.
The Prahran hub is being run by medical staff from the Port Melbourne Medical Centre who also run a pop up centre at the Port Melbourne Football Club.
