The Holy ArchDiocese of Australia has marked the bicentennial anniversary of the Greek War of Independence of 1821, with a series of stamps, using Australia Post’s personalised stamp service.

The four-stamp series of personalised stamps depicts four Greek Orthodox church figures who contributed to Greek independence from Ottoman rule.

Angela Konstantinopoulos was the artist who created the portraits featured on the stamps.
