Greek Deputy Foreign Minister responsible for the Greeks Abroad, Andreas Katsaniotis, told the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (AMNA) on Sunday that the strengthening of ties between Greeks abroad with Greece is a national and political priority.
Mr Katsaniotis said that Greece should support Greeks all over the world, and made it clear that Greece is moving at all levels, based on a structured plan, in order to connect even more with with the Greek diaspora in order to integrate Greeks in the national body. He stressed the importance on the role which Greeks abroad play, stating that they offer precious national capital of Greece.
“We have a debt and a goal to unite and mobilise for the promotion of our country,” he said.

Mr Katsaniotis also made special mention of the “invaluable contribution of world Hellenism in creating an international shield against the growing Turkish aggression”.
