Famous Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger had released a teaser on his social media two weeks ago, dressed up as the Olympian King of Gods, Zeus.
There was a lot of speculation in terms of what the teaser was for, with the prediction of a Superbowl ad winning the argument.
The newly released ad features the former California governor alongside Salma Hayek who plays Hera, for BMW in its first campaign for the game since 2015.
Actor Ralf Moeller also makes a cameo appearance in the spot as Sea God and brother to supreme God Zeus, Poseidon.
The heavenly couple, in a flash decision decides to leave Mount Olympus, and move to Palm Springs.
“Sweetheart … it’s not rocket science,” says Hayek helping the Greek God operate the microwave.
A frustrated and confused Zeus cuts the power to all of Palm Springs. Hera then steps in to cheer him up with BMW’s all-new, all-electric SUV: the BMW #iX M60.
They then cruise in the electric SUV while singing along to Eddy Grant’s “Electric Avenue,” as Zeus uses his powers to switch all the traffic lights to green.
